Electrifi™ is neither a metal nor a conventional plastic. Its electrical performance depends on:

  • Copper particle connectivity

  • Polymer expansion and relaxation

  • Print orientation and layer interfaces

  • Mechanical contact pressure

As a result:

  • Wider, thicker traces perform far better than thin lines

  • Contact resistance often dominates total resistance

  • Electrifi™ should not be treated as a solder or liquid conductor

This composite nature explains why mechanical compression, press-fit designs, and socket-style interfaces often outperform thin solder-like connections.
