Electrifi™ is neither a metal nor a conventional plastic. Its electrical performance depends on:
Copper particle connectivity
Polymer expansion and relaxation
Print orientation and layer interfaces
Mechanical contact pressure
As a result:
Wider, thicker traces perform far better than thin lines
Contact resistance often dominates total resistance
Electrifi™ should not be treated as a solder or liquid conductor
This composite nature explains why mechanical compression, press-fit designs, and socket-style interfaces often outperform thin solder-like connections.
