Electrifi™ Carbon Conductive Filament (100 S/m)

Electrifi™ Carbon is a carbon fiber–filled polyester composite engineered to provide reliable electrical conductivity in a durable, easy-to-print thermoplastic format. Designed for functional additive manufacturing, it enables electrically active features—such as signal traces, touch interfaces, sensors, and grounding paths—to be printed directly into parts.

Unlike metal-filled conductive filaments, Electrifi™ Carbon leverages carbon fiber networks to deliver moderate conductivity with improved mechanical robustness and printability. This makes it well-suited for applications where consistent conductivity, structural integrity, and ease of processing are more important than maximum electrical performance.

Recommended Printing Parameters

• Nozzle Temperature: 160–220 °C

• Bed Temperature: <50 °C (optional but recommended for adhesion)

• Print Speed: 20–50 mm/s (higher speeds possible compared to metal-filled systems)

• Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm or greater

• Layer Height: 0.2 mm or greater

• Nozzle: Hardened steel recommended due to abrasive carbon fibers

• Infill: 100% recommended for consistent conductivity

• Cooling: Moderate cooling for dimensional stability

Because Electrifi™ Carbon contains carbon fibers, it offers improved stiffness and dimensional stability compared to standard polymers. Its lower filler density also allows for more forgiving print conditions and reduced risk of nozzle clogging.
